Let’s paint the town (literally).
Our paint and sip sessions are all about good vibes, great company, and getting creative — no experience needed. Whether you’re a first-time dabbler or a seasoned scribbler, our talented artists will guide you step-by-step through your chosen artwork. Want to freestyle and do your own thing? We love that energy. Go wild.
Each session runs for two to three hours, soundtracked by a curated playlist designed to keep your brush moving and your hips grooving. Come solo, bring your bestie, partner, or mum — whatever your vibe, we’ve got you. And of course, drinks are encouraged (alcoholic or not).

Sessions last 2 to 3 hours — but don’t worry, it won’t feel like it. When the fun’s flowing, time tends to disappear.
-
To make sure we’ve got a spot ready for you, we recommend booking ahead. Our sessions are intimate and space is limited. We don’t supply tickets on the door.

Sip and Paint Sessions
-
We recommend arriving at the venue 10 minutes before your session starts — just enough time to get comfy, settle in, and let the wine (or fizz) start flowing.
-
Our sessions usually kick off within 10 minutes of the start time, but if you’re a little behind, we’ve got you. We’ll help you get settled and catch you up — no one gets left behind at our paint parties.
-
Dress to express — not to impress.
We provide aprons to help protect your outfit, but we always recommend wearing something comfy that you wouldn’t mind getting a splash of paint on. After all, creativity can get a little messy.
While we do our best to keep the paint on the canvas, Studio40 can’t take responsibility for any colourful souvenirs left on your clothes. But don’t worry — if you do get a little artsy by accident, here are some handy tips to help lift those stains:
For wet paint:
Gently scrape off the excess (don’t rub it in!) and rinse the area with water. Dab — don’t wipe — with a cloth, then treat with a 50/50 mix of water and detergent using a sponge. Wash as normal.
For dry paint:
Flake off what you can, then use a stiff brush to loosen any remaining bits. Soak in a 50/50 mix of water and detergent for 20 minutes, sponge the area gently, and pop it in the wash.
Quick tip:
Always test any removal method on a hidden spot first, and check your garment’s care label before getting stuck in.
-
Our venues are strictly no BYOB.
But don’t worry — we’ve got the good stuff ready for you. Grab your favourite sip from our bar and let the creativity flow.
-
Take your masterpiece with you!
Since this event is held at a popup venue, we aren’t able to store any canvases after the session. You’ll need to take your artwork home with you on the night.
We recommend bringing a bag that fits your canvas — or you can grab a tote or plastic bag from us if needed.

We don’t sell tickets on the door or accept walk-ins, so make sure to book ahead — once we’re full, we’re full!

No worries—just let us know at least 48 hours in advance.
No-shows = no refunds, credits, or reschedules.
